This is a project from school. It's a descriptive drawing. Basically, this entire thing is made out of words. Made with Sharpie on a sheet of metal. It's about 27x20 inches.

We had to pick a social issue and so I picked gay rights. The image is actually from the "Declare Yourself" ads but I really liked the image and thought that it could fit with my topic.

Just now did I realize that I haven't finished it =). That white line down the right side of his face is supposed to be a tear...so I guess I should finish that huh?

Sorry for the glare, I'm going to try to get a better picture once I'm done. And maybe when I can use natural light.

I also remember that story that Ellen Degeneres talked about, I think I saw it on TV one time.

Overall, I love the whole things it's amazing, I'll see if i would survive doing that same thing for next semester :P

Yeah, when I saw it that day, it was so sad!

And if by 'survive' you mean DO AMAZING...pfft. Obviously you can do this. Some people in my class who aren't even that good did a really decent job. So believe me, you'll be fine.
